The Fireworks Foundation gets the majority of its funding from generous donations. These donations are used to preserve the fireworks hobby in many different ways.
As a not-for-profit corporation, any donations to the organization are tax deductible for the donor. In congruence with IRS regulations, the Foundation treasurer can provide donors of amounts exceeding $250 a letter documenting receipt of the donation.
All donations to the fund are used at the discretion of the board. If you prefer that your donation be used for a specific issue, then please write the name of the issue in the memo area of the check or in the comments section for the online transaction.
To make a donation:
Click the button below to pay with Credit Card, Electronic Check, or Paypal
Or if you prefer, send a check made payable to the Fireworks Foundation to:
Mike Swisher, Treasurer Fireworks Foundation 14511 Olinda Boulevard North Stillwater, Minnesota 55082
The Fireworks Foundation also accepts donations of appreciated stock. The advantage of this type of donation is the donor gets a tax deduction for the current value of the stock, rather than for his basis in it, and does not have to pay capital gains tax on the difference. His donation is therefore leveraged as compared to cash.
